S.L.C.S.L.C. or Small learning communities are a great way for our school to stay connected. Each community specializes in a type of career path, these S.L.C. are headed by a lead teacher. Students Join a S.L.C. when they first arrive and can pick from a nice variety of communities. Come to AHS and see what S.L.C. fits you the most.

ClassesHere at AHS we have all the normal classes and then we offer some very interesting electives. You can see exactly what classes you need to take to graduate under the about and school curriculum tab. Kids could sign up for a 0 or 7th period if he/she wants or needs to.

(freedom of speech and privacy on the internet) EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIESIf there is a sport or club we don't have yet and you want it, you can bring it to the home of the kings. To start a sports team you need to have enough people to play on the team, then you will need to find a teacher willing to coach the team. To make a club you will need to have at least 10 active members and ether you or a teacher can run it. You will also need a meeting place and time for every week.
